Paying attention
Oh Lord, help us to pay attention to each other,
to spend our time wisely
by giving time to each other.
Teach us the art of listening to one another,
receiving others without judgment,
understanding their feelings
and what they live in their hearts.
Let us learn to value the experience
of being changed by dialogues,
to honestly share our own heart
and to receive the other in their singularity
with an open and patient heart.
We leave this Synod in your hands,
make it fruitful and encourage us
to walk together in your Church, serving your mission.
