Much more than hearing will be our listening:
\nThat vain words are carried away by the wind.
\nAnd to enter into idle chatter
\noutside the path of the synod.<\/p>\n
Courage is asked of us in speaking
\nOn the way to better discernment,
\nour hearts uncovered
\nand the hearts of others to be found.<\/p>\n
The successful encounter is not nameless,
\nnor are efforts anonymous,
\nfor in the midst of it we have the One who amazes.<\/p>\n
From the Spirit comes this reinforcement.
\nAnd from Him we ask that He may unmask
\nwhat we have within us of twists and turns.<\/p>\n
