Embracing life as it comes<\/p>\n
Jesus, we see you in the Gospels
\nwelcoming everyone who was close to you,
\nlike the man with evil spirits or the man with the withered hand.
\nWe see You walking with the disciples of Emmaus
\nor giving comfort to the widow
\nwho has lost her only child.
\nYou taught us to embrace life as it comes,
\nto focus on people,
\nno matter who they are or what they have experienced.
\nGive us your grace and your light
\nto imprint \u201cyour style\u201d in the Church,
\nto understand the others as they are
\nto understand them from the depths of their hearts
\nbeyond their words and actions.
\nMay we be an open-hearted Church,
\na Church that is receptive and walks with others.
\nAmen.<\/p>\n
