Jesus Chirst, Lord of our History
\nWe are the Church that walks with you,
\nby You and in You.
\nWhat a great grace!
\nBecause You become pilgrim with us
\nlike the pilgrim of Emmaus.
\nYou dwelt among us,
\nand You feed us, making yourself bread and wine.
\nWe belong to you, we are for You,
\nand this gives meaning to this walk together.
\nAlthough we are many,
\nwe are only one Bread and one Body,
\nfor we all partake of You, the only Living Bread.
\nPlease, give us the docility we need
\nto be transformed by the communion with You
\nin more compassionate brothers and sisters among ourselves.
