Jesus Christ, prince of peace,
\nwho has gathered your People in this Synod,
\nrenew our commitment to walk together,
\nto be a Church that is a credible witness
\nof listening, communion, participation, and mission.
\nDon\u2019t allow us to get stuck
\nin wars that cover with blood our world,
\nto be caught in fundamentalism getting to
\npersecution and massacre.
\nIn how many countries the Synod came across
\nviolence and tragedy of war!
\nGive us the grace to understand that unity and reconciliation
\nshould be a priority.
\nLet these fragilities be an opportunity
\nto encounter with You, crucified and risen,
\nletting ourselves be turned into signs of non-violence,
\nartisans of a true experience of synodality.
