Holy Spirit, we need You.
Your ever new breath sets us free from our self-absorption,
revives what is slowing dying in the Church
and loosens our shackles.
Give us your joy and turn on our hearts
to encourage us to walk the paths that lead us
where the Father wants us to be.
Inspire words of Life in our lips,
the newness that sets us free from disenchantment.
Come among us so that this synodal experience
becomes the “life-style of the Church”
in its way of behaving and being in the world.
Give us a courageous and bold heart
so that we humbly walk together
making Your dream for the Church come true.
